SCULPTURAL LIGHT ARCHITECTURE
ARTIST
I work at the intersection of light, structure, and the human system.
The work emerges through direct engagement with material, proportion, and spatial experience - guided by long-standing inquiry into how environments influence coherence, presence, and restoration.
My background spans decades of clinical practice, mind-body inquiry, and contemplative work, informing an approach to sculpture that is both grounded and experiential.
Rather than creating objects for observation, the work takes the form of inhabitable structures intended to be entered, rested within, and lived with over time.
RELATIONSHIP TO THE WORK
The work does not impose fixed meaning or prescribed outcomes; instead, relationship, attunement, and context guide how each sculpture is met and lived with.
Each piece is developed through a materially guided process - responding to light, balance, and spatial integrity - allowing the work to establish its own relational presence within a space.
My role is to listen, refine, and bring the structure into coherence, so that it may meet each individual and environment on its own terms.
This work continues to evolve through long-term placement, stewardship, and relationship - shaped as much by use and context as by its original form.
